This girl is not here for your school’s B.S. clothing rules.

Grace Villegas, 13, was amped to wear a dusty rose, off-the-shoulder blouse to school Monday, but as soon as she got there, she felt her teachers giving her “not nice” looks.
“Instantly, I was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to get dress-coded,’ and I felt the need to change,” she told BuzzFeed, adding that she didn’t get into official trouble, but several teachers made comments on her clothing choice. She ended up swapping her shirt, which she had proudly purchased with her own money the day before, for another one she brought along that day.

When her older sister Isabella, 18, heard about this, she was having none of it. “Nothing about her top was inappropriate,” she explained. “I made her [a] white shirt and told her to put it in her locker and if they ever ask her to change again, to change into that shirt.”
The shirt is a baller blanket response to all the schools out there enforcing antiquated dress code rules recently:
my 13 year old sister was dress coded for her shirt today for “revealing too much chest and shoulder” so i made her a shirt to change into pic.twitter.com/NdRQws91HB

It reads, “Dress Code: Promotes the objectification and sexualization of young bodies, blames the wearer for the onlooker’s perceptions/actions, perpetuates rape culture, is B.S.”
Sing it, sisters!
